Grilled Cheese Shop 'Melt Shop' Coming To Edison

EDISON, NJ — Specialty grilled cheese restaurant The Melt Shop will open in Edison in the coming months.

The shop is expected to open in Menlo Park Mall in March 2019, but that date is subject to change. Their first New Jersey location opened in Rockaway this week.

"Bringing Melt Shop to my home state feels like things have come full circle, and I’m excited to continue growing our footprint throughout the state,” said Montclair native and Melt Shop founder Spencer Rubin.

The Melt Shop serves grilled cheeses, melt sandwiches, chicken tenders, tater tots, and milkshakes. You can see menus from their other locations here.

The Melt Shop has several locations in Manhattan and in other states. They are also planning on opening locations in Jersey City and East Rutherford.
