EDISON, NJ — Edison police have teamed up with an unlikely helper to bring Christmas to local boys and girls: The Grinch.

With the police department's help, the Grinch will be collecting toys for Toys For Tots this December around Edison. He'll make a number of stops to meet children and collect toys.

"The Grinch knows that Christmas doesn’t come from a store; Christmas means quite a bit more. And, I am proud The Grinch is helping our police officers make this holiday season brighter for so many children," said Police Chief Thomas Bryan. "This is what community policing and the holiday season is all about."
