Hometown Buffet In Edison Closes
The buffet closed this weekend when their lease ended.

EDISON, NJ — Local favorite Hometown Buffet closed suddenly this weekend when their lease ended. It was located just off of Route One.
The Edison location was the last location open in New Jersey, and was part of a chain. The chain's owner filed for bankruptcy two years ago.
For those hoping to take a piece of the buffet home, an auction will be held online through Tuesday.

“It is sad to see this location close its doors since so many local patrons have been coming here for years,” says Mats Myhre, a spokesperson for Auction Nation. “This is an amazing opportunity not only for people in the restaurant industry but for patrons and the general public alike to bid on and purchase the assets from Hometown Buffet."
