Man Critical After Hit-And-Run In Metuchen Monday Morning
This is the white pick-up truck that hit a utility worker in the crosswalk in Metuchen Monday morning, and then fled, said police.

METUCHEN, NJ — A utility worker remains in critical condition after he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run Monday morning in Metuchen, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor.
The utility worker was struck at 9:01 a.m. while he was working in the crosswalk at the intersection of Middlesex Avenue and Grove Street, said the prosecutor. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and is listed in critical condition as of Monday afternoon.
The vehicle that hit him was described as a white pick-up truck with an extended cab with markings on the side and tailgate, possibly a Nissan Frontier, said police. Two people were inside the truck at the time it hit the man.

The driver fled the scene after striking the worker.
The crash is being investigated by Sergeant Robert Belluscio of the Metuchen Police Department and Detective Jonathan Berman of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
