Margaritas Mexican Restaurant Opening Soon In Metuchen

METUCHEN, NJ — Margaritas is aiming to open in Metuchen sometime soon, their website says.

The website says they are aiming for a "mid-November opening," and the location's Facebook page says, "We're getting very close to our opening, so keep an eye out for an exact date to be announced soon!" A spokesperson previously told Patch they were aiming to open before the end of the year.

The restaurant is set to move into the old Famous Dave's location at 52 N. Lafayette Street.

True to its name, Margaritas has an extensive menu of different margarita options, as well as mojitos, sangria, and martinis. And because you can't drink on an empty stomach, they have a wide range of menu options, including tacos, burritos, nachos, enchiladas, and a vegetarian section. You can see a full menu here.
