Metuchen Police Looking For Suspect In Bank Robbery
The robbery occurred at around 4.50 p.m. on Tuesday at Chase Bank. No injuries to staff or customers were reported.
Metuchen, NJ – The Metuchen police said they were looking for a suspect who robbed a bank at the intersection of Main Street and Route 27 on Tuesday.
According to the police, the robbery occurred at around 4.50 p.m. on Tuesday at Chase Bank. An individual, around 6-feet-tall and wearing a white mask entered the bank before closing time and demanded money, police said.
After getting the money, the suspect left the bank and began running south on Main Street in the direction of the NJ Transit train station, said police.

Police did not report any injuries to staff or customers at the bank.
Police describe the suspect as thin and approximately 6-feet-tall, who wore dark clothing, a black hat and white face mask.

Authorities are requesting the public’s help in finding the suspect.
