"This is an incredibly important benefit for our community and I encourage all eligible people to take advantage,” Busch wrote on twitter.

The school district started the testing program to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as schools reopen. The district said it will cover the charges and costs of all tests for staff, students and families who don’t have insurance or whose insurance does not cover COVID testing.

Those who want to be tested have to register in advance and complete a virtual telemedicine visit prior to test day. No walk-ups are permitted.

Students and staff must arrive at the test with their printed telemedicine Covid-19 test script in hand, which will be emailed after the telemedicine visit.

Students from Mildred B. Moss Elementary School, Campbell Elementary School and Edgar Middle School must be accompanied by an adult in order to be tested.

Testing takes place in the MHS Wrestling Room.
