Middlesex County to Host Job Fair At Edison Housing Authority
More than 50 employers will be participating in this socially distanced event open to all Middlesex County residents.
EDISON, NJ — Middlesex County, Edison Township and Edison Housing Authority (EHA) will host a drive-thru job fair for all Middlesex County residents on April 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
More than 50 employers will be participating in this socially distanced event in which job seekers can pull up in their car to receive packets of information about available career opportunities, occupational training, and other career services.
“After several years of hosting this job fair for our Edison Housing Authority families, we are now able to serve as a host site for all of Middlesex County during this challenging pandemic,” Deborah Hurley, executive director of EHA said in a statement.

Employers participating in this fair include FedEx, Coco-Cola, Home Depot and Hackensack Meridian Health.
Resume assistance will also be available to residents.

According to the EHA, unemployment rate in Middlesex County rose sharply from 3.2 percent in March 2020, to a high of 14.9 percent in June 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The rate had dipped to 5.9 percent in fall 2020 and currently stands at 7 percent.
No registration is required to attend this event.
