New Burger Joint Opening In Metuchen

METUCHEN, NJ — A new burger joint is moving into the shopping strip near the Whole Foods, according to the company's website. BurgerIM is opening a Metuchen location in the Hub Shopping Center, at the corner of Middlesex Ave and Central Ave.

BurgerIM offers gourmet burgers with a variety of different toppings (think along the lines of Smashburger). What makes them different is the nine types of patties they offer: beef, dry aged beef, wagyu beef, merguez (spicy beef), turkey, lamb, chicken, salmon, veggie, and chorizo.

They also serve chicken wings, salads, fries, onion rings, and desserts, and have gluten free options.

It's not clear when the new location will open; currently, their only New Jersey store is located in New Brunswick. They're also opening stores in Englewood, Newark, Piscataway, and Union.
