EDISON, NJ — A new Korean supermarket is looking to open in Tano Mall, township officials said.

Lotte Market is expected to open where the old A&P and Superfresh used to be, a planning board official said. A Lottee Market representative declined to provide additional information about a possible opening date.

In addition to typical American groceries, the markets sell Korean cooking staples, including meats for hot pots, halal meats, and their own store-brand of Korean packaged goods.
