New Panera Bread, Drive-Thru Starbucks Opening In Edison
The new stores will be located on opposite sides of town.

EDISON, NJ — A new Panera Bread and a drive-thru Starbucks are expected to open in Edison in the coming months, planning board secretary Lillian Triola said.
The new Starbucks will be located on Route 27 on the north end of town, next to the McDonald's (1966 Rt. 27). It is expected to replace the store currently located in Colonial Village, on the other side of the Rt. 27 and Parsonage Road intersection.
A Starbucks spokesperson said they're hoping to open the new location in the spring.

The Panera Bread is currently under construction on Woodbridge Avenue on the south side of town, across the street from the new Wawa, Triola said. It's not clear if that location will have a drive-thru or not. Representatives for Panera did not immediately respond to Patch's request for comment.
An urgent care is also expected to open near the Panera.
