Pedestrian Fatally Struck Near Edison Train Station
NJ Transit suspended service between Trenton and Metropark, after a pedestrian was fatally struck.

EDISON, NJ – New Jersey Transit suspended service between Trenton and Metropark on Tuesday morning after a pedestrian was fatally struck near Edison station.
Around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, train 3920, which departed Trenton at 6:47 a.m., fatally struck the pedestrian just east of Edison station, said Nancy Snyder, chief communications officer, NJ Transit.
NJ Transit did not release any information on the pedestrian.

No injuries were reported to the 100 customers and crew on board the train, said Snyder.
New Jersey Transit Police is currently leading the investigating.
