Rite Aid In Edison To Offer Free Coronavirus Testing
The Rite Aid on Route 1 will offer free drive-thru testing for the coronavirus beginning Friday.
EDISON, NJ — The Rite Aid pharmacy at 416 Route 1 in Edison is one of 38 New Jersey stores that will begin testing for coronavirus beginning Friday, the company announced on Thursday.
The store will offer free, self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists for anyone ages 4 and up, whether they are experiencing symptoms or not.
Drive-up testing will be available Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Customers need to pre-register online at www.riteaid.com to schedule a time slot for testing. Those aged 4-17 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to get tested.
Additionally, a parent or legal guardian must be in attendance and bring their photo ID to the testing appointment with the minor.
