EDISON, NJ — Road construction is set to begin along Route 27 in Edison and Metuchen, the New Jersey Department of Transportation announced.
The area between Bridge Street in Metuchen and Frederic Street in Edison will be resurfaced in the coming weeks. Seven intersections along the way will receive safety improvements. The federally funded project will cost $3.3 million.
The construction will require alternating daytime lane and shoulder closures.
