Rt. 1, Oak Tree Road Closed In Edison Thursday Morning: Police
Breaking: Drivers should take another route.
EDISON, NJ — Route One and Oak Tree Road are both closed Thursday morning, police said.
Route One is closed in both directions between Old Post Road and Price Street as of 10:13 a.m., police said, due to downed wires across the roadway. A re-opening time was not provided.
NJ DOT is reporting delays of up to 20 minutes in the area.

Oak Tree Road is closed eastbound from Plainfield Road to Peru Street for downed wires as of 10:20, police said. A re-opening time was not provided.
There do not appear to be any significant power outages as a result of either downed wires.
