Rt. 1 Shut Down In Edison: Police
Breaking: Drivers should avoid Route One in Edison.
EDISON, NJ — All lanes of Route One are closed as of 8:30 a.m. on Thursday due to a car crash, police said.
The lanes are closed at Plainfield Ave because of the crash, police said. Drivers should plan another route.
The severity of the crash or an expected reopening time were not immediately known.
