METUCHEN, NJ — A stretch of Rt. 27 will be closed in Metuchen Friday night into Saturday, Metuchen officials said.
Starting at 8 p.m. on April 6, the road will be closed between Prospect Street and Lake Ave. It is scheduled to reopen the next morning at 10 a.m. During that time traffic will be detoured, with an exception for residents.
The closure for milling and paving is necessary to for Middlesex Water to finish their work, Metuchen officials said.
