Shake Shack Opening In Menlo Park Mall

EDISON, NJ — Shake Shack is coming to Edison: The fast-casual burger chain has announced a Menlo Park Mall location, set to open next year.

Shack Shack will joint True Food Kitchen, a healthy, season fast-casual option, as the malls two new food choices. You can expect Shake Shack in late 2020, and True Food Kitchen in early 2021.

"Shake Shack and True Food Kitchen are exciting new additions to our impressive dining offering at Menlo Park Mall," said Robert Edelen, Mall Manager at Menlo Park Mall. "We are happy to continue to be Central Jersey’s go-to family shopping, dining and entertainment destination."

This will be Middlesex County's first Shake Shack. The current closest location to Edison is the Bridgewater Commons location. It's the second New Jersey location for True Food Kitchen, which is currently open at The Shops At Riverside in Hackensack.

Shake Shack is known for their burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and thick milkshakes. You can expect healthier fair at True Food Kitchen, which will have "health-driven menu of seasonal dishes and natural beverages guided by the principles of founder Dr. Andrew Weil’s anti-inflammatory food pyramid."
