Joshi recently received an endorsement from Gov. Phil Murphy.
In a statement, Murphy said Joshi had the "experience, passion, and vision needed to unite Edison."
Meanwhile, Bhagia was removed from the Middlesex County Democratic Organization (MCDO) slate, due to his alleged connection to the racist flyer incident from 2017.
Middlesex County Democratic Chairman Kevin McCabe awarded the MCDO line to Joshi instead.
Edison residents are invited to submit questions for the candidates on issues of their choice.
Questions will be curated before the debate to avoid duplication. The questions must be submitted no later than April 19.
