What's The Scoop Building Up For Sale Ahead Of Shop's Move
Have $4.3 million to spare? You can buy the building What's The Scoop is currently in.

METUCHEN, NJ — The building that currently houses What's The School has been put up for sale for a cool $4.3 million.
Located at 410 Main Street, the property will come with plans to add three stories to the building. The listing says those three stories could include 14 apartments and 1,500 square feet of retail and have a "high probability of obtaining site plan approval," according to the LoopNet listing.
The building was first built in the 1960s. It's considered to be in a high pedestrian traffic area, listing agents said.

The property will not, however, come with an ice cream shop. What's The Scoop announced several months ago that they will be moving out of 410 Main. A Kickstarter established to help offset moving costs has already exceeded a $15,000 goal.
"We were amazed of all the expressions support we got from people everywhere we went. In Scoop or out in the grocery store, school hallways, or the local bank, everyone had a favorite story to tell, or flavor of ice cream they liked, or just words of support," owner Michelle Schutz wrote. "We are very excited for our new beginning and our new location and can’t wait to start serving our customers and making new memories."

What's The Scoop will be moving to 457A Main Street at the end of the month, in the old 9Round kickboxing location. The last day at 410 Main will be at the end of November when the lease is up, but a specific date was not given.
