Flemington Man Threatened, Chased 2 Others With Knife: Police

Police charged Julio Chagolla-Velasco with terroristic threats, aggravated assault among other charges.

FLEMINGTON, NJ — A Flemington man was arrested after police say he threatened and chased two other men with a knife around the Hunter Hills Apartments last week.

Police were able to find the knife at the scene.

Julio Chagolla-Velasco of Flemington was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and unlawful possession of a weapon, said police.

Police took Chagolla-Velasco to the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office and then to the Warren County Jail. He was later released on bail and his court date is pending, police said.
