Giles-McCormick And Rosetti Lead Flemington Primary For Council​

The two Democrats got the most votes on Tuesday's primary, which had no one running for the Republican ballot.​

FLEMINGTON, NJ — One incumbent and one newcomer are leading in Tuesday's race for the two spots open in the Flemington Borough Council, according to unofficial results.

Caitlin Giles-McCormick is leading with 135 votes, followed by Elizabeth Rosetti, with 123. Both are Democrats, and a shoo-in for the November election, as no one filed to run as a republican.

Out of the running is democrat incumbent Chris Runion, who only got 75 votes.

A total of 47 people cast write-in ballots for the Republican primary.
