Local scouts recognized at Spring Court of Honor

BSA Troop 200 Scouts earn merit badges and advancements

Boy Scout Troop 200 held their Spring Court of Honor at Holjes-Sheppard Memorial Park in Lebanon Borough. Members of the troop received achievements and accolades such as merit badges or ranks earned since the troop’s last Court of Honor.

The following Troop 200 Scouts moved up in rank on their path to Eagle Scout: Zach Zappullo-Roemer (Scout), Jeffrey Casalins, Christian Marciante and Oliver Sudol (Tenderfoot), Ryan Senger and Sean Verlin (Second Class), Russell Gauthier and Bo Pardo (First Class), Jack Guan and John Martoccia (Star) and Cameron Lutz (Life).

Nearly 30 merit badges were earned including Personal Fitness, Geocaching and Radio as well as Cooking, Chess, and Camping. During the event, which was emceed by Senor Patrol Leader Justin Verlin and Tenderfoot Oliver Sudol, Christian Marciante earned his Cyber Chip and Zach Zuppullo-Roemer received the Ad Altare Dei Award, a religious recognition from the Catholic Church.

Troop 200 is a high-adventure, boy-led troop. The Scouts meet on Monday evenings during the
