2 Hospitalized After Shots Fired At Freehold Apartments: MCPO

2 male victims were hospitalized for gunshot wounds on Tuesday following a report of shots fired at Continental Gardens.

FREEHOLD, NJ - Two male victims were hospitalized following a Tuesday shooting at Continental Gardens, authorities said.

On March 30 at around 8:02 p.m., officers from the Freehold Borough Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at the Continental Gardens apartment complex. At arrival, patrols found two male victims, both suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds, according to a spokesman from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO).

Both victims were transported to an area hospital where they are currently being held for observation.

The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
