Freehold Township Day Returns This Saturday
One of Monmouth County's most popular family food and fun festivals is returning this year. Here's what you need to know to attend.
FREEHOLD, NJ - Amid last year’s pandemic-related cancellation, Freehold Township Day is back in 2021 to offer food and fun for the entire family.
Freehold Township's annual celebration is slated to feature door prizes, food trucks, games, live music, kids rides, a teen center and more.
The event is free and will take place from 4 to 11 p.m. on July 10 at Michael J. Tighe Park (65 Georgia Road) in Freehold.

Food vendors include Angelotti's, Grease Trucks, Empanada Guy and Cousins Maine Lobster.
Featured live bands include Screaming Broccoli and the Phil Engel Band. A fireworks show at 9 p.m. will conclude the festivities.

Here’s the full event schedule:
3 p.m. - Car Show Opens
4 p.m. - Rides and Teen Center Open (FREE)
4:30 to 5:30 p.m. - Screaming Broccolli Show
6 to 7 p.m. - Phil Engel Band Show
7:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Screaming Broccolli Show No. 2
8:45 p.m. - Color Guard & National Anthem Honoring Veterans
9:15 p.m. - Fireworks
9:30 to 10:30 p.m. - Phil Engel Band Show No. 2
Car show registration ends the day of the event at 6 p.m. sharp. All classics, customs, hot rods, street rods, trucks, imports and special interest vehicles are welcome. Questions can be directed to oldglorycruisers@gmail.com.
