7 Easy Steps to Convert Your Pool to Salt Water - Many homeowners are choosing to convert their traditional chlorine pools to saltwater pools. It’s easy. Just follow these simple steps to achieve the switch:

1. Balance Your Water

Balance the water as specified by your installation manual. You don’t even have to drain the water out of your pool!

2. Add Pool-Grade Salt

Adding pool-grade salt will achieve the right concentration. The volume of water your pool holds will dictated how much salt you add. Just be sure to distribute the salt across the entire pool surface. Remember, it can take up to 24 hours to dissolve.

6. Switch on the Pump

Turn the pool pump on and let it run for a few hours. This will give it a chance to circulate the salt properly. At the same time, check for any leaks and have them repaired as needed.

7. Turn on the Salt Chlorinator

All that’s left to do now is switch the salt chlorinator on and enjoy your pool.

The Simple Way a Salt Chlorinator Works

Not only does a salt chlorination system require less maintenance, it costs less and is a more convenient sanitization method than traditional chemical chlorine sanitization.

Salt chlorinators create softer and safer water to swim in by converting salt into a self-regenerating supply of pure chlorine. All you have to do is add pool-grade salt to your pool and let it dissolve. The chlorine generator will convert the dissolved salt into fresh, pure chlorine. The result? Complete sanitization and comfort while swimming!
