Cecelia R. Valenczius, 89, Former Monmouth Judicial Secretary
She was born and raised in Freehold and lived there until she and her husband retired to Florida in 1993.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Family and friends are planning a celebration of life ceremony sometime in the fall for Cecelia R. Valenczius, who was a judicial secretary in the Monmouth County Courthouse for many years.
Mrs. Valenczius, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on July 31, 2017 at the age of 89. She was born in Freehold on October 6, 1927, and married her late husband Ignatius “Iggie” Valenczius in 1950, her daughter, Mary V. Hines said.
She was a judicial secretary for the Monmouth County Courts until she retired in 1993 they retired to Florida, her daughter said.

Mrs. Valenczius is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Jo Ann Valenczius of Spring Hill, Florida, and Mary V. and Walter Hines of Hillsborough; three sisters, Agnes Barczak of New York, Theresa Shwahla and Rosemarie Laird of New Jersey; a brother, Michael Zarnofsky of North Carolina, and along with her loving extended family and friends.
Services were private, Mary Hines said. A celebration of her life will be held in the fall.
