Cecilian Music Club Celebrates Lillian Livingston's Music Career

The CecIlian Music Club celebrates Lillian Livingston's career as music educator and performer.

Several articles could be
written about Lillian Livingston's importance to her musical
community – as past President of the Cecilian Music Club in
Freehold, as a private piano teacher in Englishtown, as Adjunct
Associate Professor and Conservatory Teacher at Westminster Choir
College in Princeton. She is a National Certified Teacher of Music in
the National Music Teachers Association, and is on the Board of
Judges for the National Piano Guild. In 2013 she was selected by the
New Jersey State Teachers Association as Teacher of the Year. With
all these accolades and professional accomplishments, her warm,
inclusive personality, and her infectious love of music, has
encouraged and celebrated the smallest beginner as well as the most
polished professional. All performers feel appreciated and valued in
her presence.

On Friday, May 11th,
2018, members of the Cecilian Music Club held a lunch at Tokyo
Restaurant in Manalapan to celebrate Lillian's career. Pictured, left
to right, are: Lisa Frost-Goodall, Anli-Young, Barbara Lerro, Lillian
Livingston, Beth S. Chen, Margaret Coston, Helen Bungert, and Tim
Kugelman. Not pictured are: Yining Wang, Violeta Kundrotiene, and
Helen Bonham. Beth S. Chen commissioned a beautiful crystal award
engraved with Lillian's name and the date, thanking her for her
inspiration. Every

member of the club
celebrates Lillian's distinguished career and wishes her the best for
her future.
