Cecilian Music Club Presents 21st Annual Young Artists Recital
On December 2nd, 2018, the Cecilian Music Club presented its 21st Annual Young Artists Recital.

On December 2nd, 2018, the Cecilian Music Club presented its twenty-first annual
Cecilian Young Artist Competition Winners' Recital at the Victoria Theater, New Jersey
Performing Arts Center in Newark. Students of Cecilian Club members must receive high scores
during a rigorous audition process in order to perform in this concert.
Piano solos were performed by: Alexandra Cahill, Kristie Chao, Andrew Chen,Annabelle Chow,
Catherine Chu, Jenna Cooley, Alexander Dong, Karen Du, Melody Fu, Emily Gan, Audrey Gang,
Taksh Gupta, Brendon Hwang, Claire Jiang, Vincent Jiang, Meghan Jin, Apollo Lee, Gordon Li,
Sammi Li, Yunjue Li, Athena Liu, Wesley Liu, Ryan Lu, Alexander Luo, Jasmine Meyer, Christine Peng, Adora Rao, Matthew Shen, Alyssa Marie Soma, Julie Sun, Patrick Sun, Bridget Wang, Emily Wang, Eric Wang, Timothy Wei, Averie Woo, Cameron Woo, David Wu, Katherine Wu, Alyssa Xu, Raymond J. Xu, Kayla Yong, Justin Zhang, Skyler Zhang, Ryan Zhao, and Justin Zhong. Piano duets were performed by: Maegan Hontanosas/Raeann Hontanosas, Emily Luo/Melinda Mao, Elizabeth Yang/James Yang and Joshua Yi/Julie Ham. A piano trio was performed by Andrew Lee, Justin Ham, and Ashley Lee. Ann Cao played violin, accompanied by Jessica Currao on piano.

Gloria Y. Chu, Ingrid J. Clarfield, Grace Kuo, Julia Lam, Chiu-Tze Lin, Beatrice Long, Tiffany Vuong, Yining Wang, Wendy Wu, Stella Xu,Yuka Yanagi, Grace Junghee Yang, and An-li Young.
After 21 years, Ms. Beth S. Chen has announced that she will be retiring from her position as
chairwoman of the Young Artists Competition. The Cecilian Music Club would like to express its profound gratitude to Ms. Chen on behalf of the members, and of the teachers and students whose musical lives she has enriched.
