Cecilian Music Club Presents 27th Cecilian Awards Recitals
The Cecilian Music Club presents our 27th Annual Gold and Sliver Cecilian Awards Competition recitals.

On Sunday, May 6th, 2018,
the Cecilian Music Club presented its 27th Annual Cecilian
Award Competition Gold and Silver recitals. The students who perform
in these recitals have to pass an audition, in which they are judged
on their musicianship and performance skills.
In the Silver recital,
piano solos were performed by: Lucas Alberto, Elizabeth Darrar, Sarah
DeCelie, Christina Donnelly, Sarah Fedak, Jeremy Hui, Jacquelyn
Hunter, Beatrice Karron, Michelle Kuo, Sophia Neff, Robert Paglia
III, Tiffani Paglia, Abishek Prakash, Aniurdh Prakash, Michael
Tresvalles, and Ashley Wang. Raeann Hontanosas and Maegan Hontanosas
played a piano duet, Rebecca Liu performed on flute, and Kristen
Redding performed a harp solo.
In the Gold recital,
piano solos were performed by: Katharine Arthur, Natalia Bogdan,
Ethan Elizar, Julie Ham, Justin Ham, Maegan Hontanosas, Maylin
Horchler, Samuel Jackson, Rachael Kim, Andrew Lee, Ashley Lee, Nessa
Levine, Grace Nivera, Isabelle Papa, Emylene Quan, Isaac
Schmetterer, Sophia Schwab, Matthew Shen, Evan Smith, Florence So,
Sudharsna Suresh, John Szumowski, Jeffrey Tan, Maria Thompson,
Elizabeth Wang, Julie Wang, Julian Wong, Lili Woods, Elizabeth
Wright, Joshua Yi, Julia Yi, and Kayla Yong. Piano duets were
performed by: Ashley Lee/Andrew Lee, and Joshua Yi and Julie Ham.
Isabel Posteinek played a flute solo, and John Szumowski performed on
trumpet. Lydia Bao, Lillian Jiang, Amanda Wang, and Victoria Zhong
played a flute quartet.
