Construction On Rt. 9 In Freehold Twp Prompts Shoulder Closure

FREEHOLD, NJ - Utility work on U.S. 9 northbound closed the shoulder of several lanes in Freehold today, authorities said.

The construction affects the right shoulder of three lanes just north of CR 524/Elton-Adelphia Rd in Freehold Township, according to a 511NY.org alert.

The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 16, the alert reads.
