Downtown Freehold Seeking 2013 Freehold Idol Contestants

Calling all singers! Freehold Idol is now taking applications for their 2013 season.

The local singing competition based off of the popular Fox television show is getting ready to come back to Freehold.

Downtown Freehold is accepting applications for singers who think they have what it takes to become the next Freehold Idol. Singers must be 10-years-old or older.

Auditions are scheduled between June 5 and Aug 7 at 7: 30 p.m. in front of the Hall of Records. The finales for the 2013 Freehold Idol will be on Aug. 21 for singers between the ages 10 and 15 and on Aug. 14 for singers in the 16 through 22 age group and 23-plus age group.
