Five Public Freehold Retirees Receive More Than $100K Pension

Did you know that over a thousand retired public employees collect over $100,000 in benefits each year?

New Jersey Watchdog, a news web site devoted to public service journalism, compiled a list of  who belongs to the "$100K Club".

According to New Jersey Watchdog, 1,244 former employees collected more than $100,000 last year. They also reported that this number has increased by 28 percent since 2010.

Freehold employees that make the list include former superintendents, a police captain and an administrator.

Below is a list of retired Freehold employees who make the list:

• Patricia Emmerman, $105,089, former assistant superintendent of the

• Harold Wasser, $129,311, former superintendent
