Freehold Area Schools Closed Thursday Due To Storm
The blizzard warning is in effect until at least 7 p.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Schools in the Freehold area all have announced closures for Thursday, Jan. 4 due to the impending winter storm.
Freehold Township and Freehold Borough schools, the Freehold Regional High School District, and St. Rose of Lima School in Freehold all will be closed on Thursday.
The closures were announced Wednesday night in the wake of a blizzard warning issued by the National Weather Service. The forecast is calling for at least 6 inches of snow and strong winds with gusts up to 50 mph that could cause whiteout conditions. The blizzard warning is in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday.
