Freehold Borough Extends Brush Pick Up

Due to the recent cold weather, the borough has extended its brush pick up schedule in order to give residents more time to do their outside spring cleaning.

Freehold Borough residents can wait to tackle their yard work thanks to an extension to the brush pick up schedule.

At the Monday, March 18 Freehold Borough council meeting, Councilman Michael DiBenedetto explained to residents that due to the recent cold weather,  brush pick up will begin on April 15.

“In light of the current cold weather we are extending the brush pick up schedule to April 15. This is to allow our residents to get some of their spring clean up work done," said DiBenedetto. "The cold weather has forced residents to put off their outside work and we want to provide ample time for residential clean up."
