Freehold High Schools Issued New ‘Report Card’ For 2021

FREEHOLD, NJ - There's a new list that includes a "report card" for high schools both public and private around the nation and in the Garden State. Freehold Borough High School (public, 9-12) and Freehold Township High School (public, 9-12) were included in the listing.

Niche.com, which specializes in all different types of rankings, including schools, has created a new list that is a bit different than the usual lists the company is known for. In this one, Niche has included both public and private schools for New Jersey.

Freehold Borough High School was given an overall grade of an A with these specifics:

• Academics: A-
• Diversity: A
• Teachers: A-
• College Prep: A
• Clubs & Activities: A-
• Health & Safety: B+
• Administration: A-
• Sports: A
• Food: B-
• Resources & Facilities: B-

Freehold Borough High School was also ranked No. 63 for Most Diverse Public High School in New Jersey, No. 74 for Best College Prep Public High School in New Jersey and No. 90 for Best Public High School in New Jersey.

Freehold Township High School was given an overall grade of an A- with these specifics:

• Academics: B+
• Diversity: B
• Teachers: A-
• College Prep: A-
• Clubs & Activities: B+
• Health & Safety: B+
• Administration: B
• Sports: A
• Food: B
• Resources & Facilities: B-

Freehold Township High School was also ranked No. 93 for Best High School for Athletes in New Jersey, No. 118 for Best College Prep Public High School in New Jersey and No. 132 for Best Public High School Teachers in New Jersey.

Niche's methodology is based on an analysis of academic and student-life data from the US Department of Education along with test scores, and feedback from Niche.com users.
