Freehold Man Accused of Heroin Possession
Man allegedly found in possession of 47 decks of heroin.
A Freehold man faces three drug related charges after he was allegedly found in possession of 47 decks of heroin while near an elementary school.
Freehold Borough Police arrested Edwin Villanueva, 42, of Bennett Street, on Sunday, Jan. 13. According to Villanueva’s complaint warrant, he allegedly intented to distribute the controlled dangerous substance while being within 1,000 feet of the St. Rose of Lima Elementary School.
Villanueva has been charged with possession, intent to distribute, and intent to distribute near a school.

Villanueva has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $40,000 bail.
