Freehold Township Committee Recognizes Varsity Field Hockey Team

After earning numerous titles during their 2012 season, the Freehold Township High School Varsity field hockey team was awarded certificates of achievement from the Freehold Township Committee.

2012 was a banner-year for the Freehold Township High School (FTHS) Varsity field hockey team.

During their season, the girls won a North Division Title, won the Central New Jersey Group IV State Championship, went undefeated in the season, had 15 shutouts and were ranked number 10 in New Jersey and the Shore Conference.  Due to their success, the Freehold Township Committee honored the team last week with a certificate of achievement for the multiple athletic highlights the team experienced this year.

In addition to the many accomplishments the team earned during the season, the committee recognized the team’s passion and dedication to each other and the sport.
