Freehold Township PD Investigating Shots Fired Monday Evening

The county prosecutor's office and Freehold Township police are requesting the public's help relating to a shooting on Manchester Court.

FREEHOLD, NJ - The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and Freehold Township Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in regards to a shooting in the municipality on Monday.

The shooting occurred in the area of Manchester Court around 7 p.m., Freehold Township police wrote in a Tuesday statement.

According to a report by RLS Media, the incident caused property damage in the area of 56 Manchester Court. Officers from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Division discovered multiple shell casings and bullets that struck a home on the property, the publication said. There were no victims at the scene.
