Exciting and Educational Program for 5-7 yr old Children
Little Riders Program
The Equestrian Experience riding instruction program is now offering a special program for children aged 5-7 yrs old with no previous riding experience. The program is located at nearby Burlington Farm on Burlington Road in Freehold. The owner/instructor offers a fun, safe and educational opportunity to learn and grow in a wholesome country setting:
Who? This program is for kids age 5 through 7, who have not yet had any
formal riding instruction. Groups will consist of 2 or 3 riders.
What? Lessons will run for three weeks, and consist of 60 minutes in the
barn. Riders will have a 30 minute mounted lesson, as well as 30
minutes of unmounted time. Unmounted time may include grooming
and tacking, untacking, and learning about the horse (parts of the
horse, different colors, leading, etc.)
When? Summer Session: Friday, Aug. 10th, 17th, 24th 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Fall Sessions: Thursday, September 6th, 13th, 20th 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Thursday, October 4th, 11th, 18th 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Thursday, November 1st, 8th, 15th 5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Where? Burlington Farm, 260 Burlington Rd, Freehold NJ
How much? The Little Riders Program is $150 per rider for the three week session.
