Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred in front of a Freehold Township residence this weekend that left one man injured.

FREEHOLD, NJ - Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred in front of a Freehold Township residence on Saturday that left one man injured.

Officers from the Freehold Township Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 300 block of Jackson Mills Road at around 11:01 p.m. on Saturday, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said. At the scene, officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition on Sunday, according to an MCPO spokesperson. The investigation is ongoing, officials said.
