FREEHOLD, NJ -- If you were scheduled for a court appearance on Wednesday in Monmouth County, your appearance has been postponed.
The Monmouth County Courthouse, along with all courts in New Jersey, is closed Wednesday due to the impending winter storm.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced a state of emergency earlier Tuesday afternoon ahead of the storm, and then announced a closure of state offices except for essential personnel, as predictions are for parts of New Jersey to receive a foot of snow.
