Power Out In Freehold? Here's How To Report Your Outage
If the power goes out later in the day, Jersey Central Power & Light has several ways to report it.

While the snow continues to fall across the area, there are concerns the weight of it could bring down tree limbs and cause power outages as the day goes on.
If your power goes out, Jersey Central Power & Light has multiple ways to contact them and report an outage.

- Facebook: JCP&L is the first electric utility in NJ to offer outage reporting on their Facebook page. Visit Facebook.com/JCPandL and click "Report an Outage" tab
- • Sign up for text messaging and text "OUT" from your phone
- • Visit their 24/7 power center on www.jcp-1.com using any smartphone, tablet or laptop.
- • Call 1-888-LIGHTSS
If you see downed wires, call JCP&L or the police immediately. NEVER go near a downed wire even if you believe it's no longer carrying electricity. Extra precautions should be used in areas where downed lines are tangled in trees or other debris.
