Resident Indicted on 9 Charges Involving Stolen Motorcycles

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Freehold resident on nine charges surrounding stolen motorcycles and parts in 2012.

Robert Zybura, 34, of Monmouth Ave, was charged with six counts of receiving stolen property, possession of a vehicle with an alerted trademark or identification number, fencing, and operation of a facility of stolen automobiles or parts.

According to his indictment, Zybura knowingly brought four stolen motorcycles and two stolen motorcycle motors into New Jersey in Aug. of 2012.

Zybura also allegedly altered an identification number on a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle or any parts of the parts thereof. His charge of fencing comes from allegedly trafficking in stolen property valued over $500.

Zybura’s final charge of operation of facility for sale of stolen automobiles or parts comes from him allegedly selling the stolen motorcycles and parts out of Freehold Borough between July 2012 and Aug. 2012.
