Resident with Metal Pipe Charged with Weapon Possession

A Freehold resident faces two weapon possession charges following a Saturday, Feb. 16 incident.

Freehold Borough Police arrested a Freehold man after he was allegedly found in possession of a white metal pipe.

Raul Olivera, 35, of Broad Street, faces two weapon possession charges after he allegedly used a white metal pipe unlawfully. According to his complaint warrant, the circumstances in which Olivera possessed the pipe was not considered an appropriate use.

Olivera was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $22,500 bail.
