Route 33 Bypass West Shut After Tractor-Trailer Overturns: Police

Police say the crash happened near Halls Mills Road in Freehold Township.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Motorists are being warned to avoid the Route 33 Bypass West on Tuesday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned on the road, Freehold Township police said.

The Route 33 Bypass West is shut down at Halls Mills Road as a result of the crash, police said.

The ramp from Halls Mills Road South onto the Route 33 Bypass West also is shut down, police said.

Monmouth County Hazmat has been called in to clean up a fuel spill, police said.
