The Week Ahead: Freehold Township Education Foundation Holds Fundrasing Event at iPlay America

The Freehold Township Education Foundation will be having one of their two fundraising events on Monday, April 8 at iPlay America. For $20 per student - $4 from each admission will go to your school PTO and remaining proceeds will benefit the Freehold Township Education Foundation (FTEF) Connect Us! Campaign which aims to transform every schoolroom in the district into an Interactive Classroom. For more information visit the event listing here. The next event will be on Tuesday, April 16.

The Freehold Borough Board of Education will meet on Monday, April 8. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Park Avenue Elementary School Cafeteria. This meeting will be the first meeting with Dr. Rocco Tomazic, the new Superintendent of Freehold Borough Schools.

Government Meetings

The Freehold Borough Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. and the Borough Board of Health will meet on Thursday, April 11 at 8 p.m. Both meeting will be held at the Borough Hall conference room.

The Freehold Township Committee will meet on Tuesday, April 9 for a workshop meeting. It will be held in room 214 in the Municipal Building. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

The Freehold Township Recreation Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10. The meeting will be held at Michael J. Tighe Park.

The Thursday, April 11 Freehold Township Zoning Board of Adjustments meeting is cancelled for this week.

Fashion for Passion Fashion Show

Courtyard on Main will be hosting a dinner fashion show to raise funds for Parkinson's disease research. The show will be on Tuesday, April 9 and will begin at 6 p.m. .

Job Fair

The Urban SociaLites will be holding its third annual 2013 Job Fair at the Freehold Borough YMCA on Friday, April 12. The job fair will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Business attire is a must. .
