Tuesday: Freehold Borough Council Meets Tonight
A look into the first regular Freehold Borough Council meeting of 2013.

The Freehold Borough Mayor and Council will hold their first regular meeting of 2013 at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
Freehold Borough students will start off the meeting with a presentation about the 21st Century Community Learning Center. Students are expected to provide an inside look into the program to the council and meeting attendees.
Tuesday’s meeting agenda also shows that there will be a presentation to the Freehold High School Gymnastics team and coaches. During the meeting, the council will vote to approve a resolution opposing two documents which concerns registration of multi-family dwelling under the “hotel and multiple dwelling law”.

The council will also vote to approve a resolution authorizing execution of an interlocal services agreement for regional animal control and a resolution that confirms the registration of James E. Coleman as a member of the Lake Topanemus Commission, effective Dec. 31, 2012 and an appointment of Christian Rios as a member of the Freehold Fire Department effective Jan. 22.

According to the agenda, an executive session will be held where the Council and Mayor will discuss Personnel matters, litigation and contract negotiations.
