Who Filed For Monmouth County Commissioner In 2021?
Three candidates are running for one open seat on the Monmouth County Board of Commissioners this year. Here's who they are:

MONMOUTH COUNTY - One seat is open on the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Commissioners and three candidates are vying for a seat, according to the Monmouth County Clerk's Office.
Incumbent Susan M. Kiley, a Republican, will be running under the Monmouth County Republican Organization ticket. Thomas Scarano, also a Republican, filed under the Monmouth County Conservative Republicans ticket.
Democrat Michael Beson filed under the Monmouth County Democrats.

Kiley is the current Deputy Director of the board, serving as the board liaison to the county's Human Services Department, including the Board of Health, Division of Aging and Disabilities, Division of County Adjuster, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, Division of Planning and Contracting for Human Services, Division of Social Services and the JDAI Program. She also leads the Monmouth ACTS (Assisting Communities through Services) program, a public-private quality of life service for county locals. She previously served as mayor of Hazlet.
Scarano served as current campaign treasurer of Mayor Greg Buontempo and Committeeman Pascucci and has aided in the campaigns of Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso and former Holmdel Township Committeeman Mike Nikolis.

Beson is the former mayor of Neptune, according to the New Jersey Globe. He served as a former aide to Rep. Frank Pallone, touted a seat on the Ocean Township Board of Education and is currently a Municipal Chairman in Ocean Township. He was also recently nominated by Gov. Phil Murphy to serve on the New Jersey Casino Redevelopment Authority.
