8 Years Later, Gloucester Twp. Woman's Death Still A Mystery
Carol Reiff's family last heard from her on June 20, 2013. Four days later, her body was found behind her apartment complex.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — On June 20, 2013, Carol Reiff was preparing to go see family in Manahawkin. She spoke to family members that day before setting out on her trip.
It was the last time anyone heard from the 59-year-old Gloucester Township woman.
Four days later, her body was discovered in a wooded area behind her apartment complex. Eight years later, her death remains a mystery.
It’s a mystery Gloucester Township police continue to investigate, the police department said on Wednesday. There is still a $20,000 reward available for information that helps investigators solve the case.

Tipsters are eligible to receive $10,000 if an arrest is made relating to the investigation, and an additional $10,000 if there is a conviction.
The investigation is being treated as a criminal case, even though the cause and manner of her death remain listed as pending.

Her daughter made a personal appeal for clues in the days after Reiff’s body was found behind the Lakeview Apartment Complex, and the Southern Ocean Ladies Running Club, of which Reiff was a founding member, held a "virtual run" to keep her death in the spotlight.
In 2015, Gloucester Township police worked with her family to create a video in an attempt to garner new leads. That video can be seen below.
